Privacy Policy

Effective August 8, 2026. This policy covers ZipCombiner (the Mac and Windows app) and zipcombiner.com (this website).

The short version

ZipCombiner processes your ZIP files entirely on your own computer. Your files are never uploaded to us or to any server we operate — combining, extracting, and organizing all happen locally on your machine.

What the app does not collect

ZipCombiner does not require an account, does not access the contents of your files for any purpose other than combining them as you direct, and does not transmit your file contents, file names, or folder structures to us.

Purchases

ZipCombiner is sold through the Mac App Store and through Gumroad. We don't process payments ourselves and never see your full card details:

• Mac App Store purchases are handled entirely by Apple, under Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Gumroad purchases are handled by Gumroad, under Gumroad's Privacy Policy. Gumroad shares limited order information (such as your email address, for delivering the app and receipts) with us as the seller.

This website

zipcombiner.com is a static site: no comment system, no user accounts or logins, and no cookies for tracking or advertising. There's nothing here to opt into or delete because nothing is collected as you browse. Standard web server logs (such as IP address and browser type) may be retained briefly by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes, as with any website.

If you use the contact form or email us, we'll have your email address and whatever you send us — used only to reply to you, not for marketing.

Third-party services

Beyond Apple and Gumroad for purchases, ZipCombiner does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or data-broker services.

Children's privacy

ZipCombiner is a general-purpose file utility not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app or this website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
